Dr. Louise Kelly is a Professor of Management and Leadership at the University of La Verne's College of Business. Her research focuses on strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship, particularly in the context of women's leadership and social entrepreneurship. She has authored 7 books and over 20 articles, including her recent work Entrepreneurial Women (2025). Dr. Kelly is a recipient of the US government's Outstanding Scholar award and the university's Outstanding Professor distinction. Fluent in French and Spanish, she teaches courses in strategy, leadership, and management.
Her research interests span strategic leadership, social entrepreneurship, women's leadership, and management ethics. She previously served as Program Director for the PhD in Leadership program. Her work emphasizes mindfulness, authentic leadership, and the role of empathy in organizational settings.
