Dr. Megan D. Granquist is a Professor of Kinesiology and Director of the Athletic Training Program at the Cástulo de la Rocha College of Health and Community Well-Being, University of La Verne. She holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MS from the University of Oregon, and a BS from Pacific Lutheran University.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on psychosocial strategies in athletic training, rehabilitation adherence, mental health in student-athletes, and interfaith concepts in patient-centered care. She has contributed to understanding stress, anxiety, and coping mechanisms in sports contexts.
Key Publications: Dr. Granquist specializes in psychosocial interventions for injury rehabilitation and has co-authored textbooks and journal articles addressing adherence measurement, mental health implications, and interfaith education in healthcare.
