Dr. Yesim Keskin is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program at the Cástulo de la Rocha College of Health and Community Well-Being, University of La Verne. She holds a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech, an MA in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University, and a BA in Psychology from Bogazici University.
Her research focuses on integrative frameworks in psychotherapy, including motivational interviewing and relational ethics. She has contributed to studies on common factors in therapeutic practice and ethical tools like the relational ethics genogram. Her work bridges clinical innovation with training methodologies in family therapy.
Dr. Keskin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, certified in mental health integrative medicine, trauma-informed care, and clinical supervision. She has received teaching certifications such as the ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
