Louise Geddes is an Associate Professor at Adelphi University, affiliated with the Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences. Her research spans Shakespearean studies, performance theory, digital cultures, and fan theory, with a focus on early modern drama in contemporary contexts.

Her work explores the intersection of digital media, Shakespeare in performance, and theatre within popular culture. Recent publications analyze Shakespearean appropriation, fan activism, and digital theatre, reflecting her interest in how classical texts engage with modern ideologies and technologies.
Selected scientific awards include serving as General Editor for Borrowers and Lenders: A Journal of Shakespeare Appropriation and editorial board membership for This Rough Magic. She has led international study abroad programs in Dublin (2017), York, and London (2019).
