Louise Frogner is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at Örebro University, affiliated with the School of Behavioural, Social and Legal Sciences and the Department of Behavioral, Social and Legal Sciences. She holds a PhD in Psychology and leads research in the CAPS Center and the SOFIA study. Her work focuses on early childhood predictors of antisocial behavior, psychopathic traits, and crime prevention strategies. She teaches research methods and criminology courses at the university.
Her research emphasizes longitudinal studies of conduct problems, social skills development, and the role of fearlessness and ADHD in childhood behavior. Notable projects include the SOFIA study and evaluations of Group Violence Intervention (GVI) strategies in Örebro. She collaborates internationally, such as in Dutch population studies on child behavior inventories.
Publications span developmental psychology, criminology, and clinical assessments, with a focus on predictive models for antisocial behavior and intervention efficacy. She has contributed to policy-relevant reports on public safety and policing strategies.
