Louisa Jantos

Louisa Jantos is a doctoral student and research associate at the University of Göttingen's Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, affiliated with the Chair of Economic Policy and SME Research and the Economic Institute for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts. She contributes to the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research-funded RENEW project, focusing on regulatory experiments for sustainable development in knowledge transfer, and maintains active collaborations across Europe, Israel, China, and New Zealand.

Her fieldwork spans Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, China, and Israel, with emphasis on sustainable entrepreneurship, Future of Work adaptations in SMEs, and digitalization challenges in craft sectors. She employs qualitative methodologies including cross-national interviews to identify institutional barriers and incentives for sustainable innovation.

Her emerging publication record demonstrates practical applications of sustainable business concepts, notably her 2022 article on New Work practices in SMEs which bridges organizational theory with real-world implementation challenges. This work reflects broader research trends emphasizing systemic change in regional economies through science-industry knowledge transfer.

Louisa actively supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses on regional sustainability initiatives, institutional barriers to green innovation, and entrepreneurial ecosystem comparisons. As part of the RENEW project, she evaluates an e-tool for energy/resource/CO2 accounting while contributing to the NeWiM project's completed research on innovation frameworks.
