Louis F. Morgan is a Professor and Director of Library Services at Lee University, where he has served as a faculty member since 2003. He also holds the position of University Historian since 2018 and oversees Squires Library operations.
Education:
- B.A. in History and Communication, Public Relations from Lee University (1998)
- M.S. in Information Science from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2002)
- Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University (2009)
Morgan's research and teaching interests focus on leadership theories including servant leadership, self-sacrificing leadership, and transformational leadership. He also teaches courses on self-leadership, the life and works of C.S. Lewis, and freshman introduction seminars, bridging library science, organizational leadership, and university history.

Morgan actively serves on numerous committees including the Deans Council, Academic Council, Lee Online Advisory Board, and Master of Ministry Studies Graduate Committee. He previously served as historian on the Lee University Centennial Executive Steering Committee. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Appalachian College Association, Tennessee Library Association, American Library Association, and International Leaders Association.
As University Historian, Morgan has conducted extensive research on Lee University's history and compiled the online Encyclopedia of Lee University History. He continues to contribute to the academic community through teaching, advising, and professional service.
