Dr. Louie Mar Gangcuangco is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a junior investigator at the Hawaii Center for AIDS (HICFA). He specializes in HIV/AIDS research, focusing on chronic complications such as neurocognitive disorders, immune activation, and cardio-metabolic comorbidities. His work integrates clinical, translational, and basic science approaches to address HIV-associated pathologies.
