Lotta Maunsbach is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law at Lund University. She serves as Research Coordinator for Dispute Resolution and is affiliated with the Lund University Centre for Business Law (ACLU). Her roles include teaching civil and procedural law at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as conducting research on civil procedural law, alternative dispute resolution, and intersections between procedural and civil law.
Maunsbach holds a doctoral degree (2015) from Lund University, focusing on litigation agreements and their compatibility with the European Convention on Human Rights. Her research emphasizes civil procedure law, judicial independence, and EU legal frameworks. She actively collaborates with practitioners, participates in networks like the Nordic Group for Procedural Law, and chairs the South Swedish Arbitration Association.
Her work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting just institutions (Goal 16). Key research areas include legal ethics, contractual dispute resolution mechanisms, and the application of EU law within national procedural systems.
