Lorna Stevens is a Reader in Marketing at the Westminster Business School, University of Westminster. Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of the West of Scotland and a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Ulster. She holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour (2003), an MA in Marketing, and a BA (Hons) in English Literature.
Her teaching expertise spans consumer behaviour, marketing communications, advertising, brands, and international marketing strategy. Currently, she teaches modules on Strategic Marketing from an International Perspective and Managing Brands. Her research focuses on consumer culture, gender dynamics in consumption, and marketing philosophy, with contributions to journals like the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Strategic Marketing, and Journal of Macromarketing.
She has authored or co-authored chapters in edited volumes such as Marketing Management: A Cultural Perspective (2012) and Motherhoods, Markets and Consumption (2014). Lorna serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Marketing Management and on the Review Board of Marketing Theory.
