Dr. Lorna Hamilton is a Senior Lecturer at the Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the Institute for Education, Community & Society (IECS). She holds a PhD from the University of Stirling and has extensive experience in teacher education, educational research, and policy. Her work bridges practice and theory, focusing on teacher identity, intercultural education, and inclusive pedagogies.

Her research emphasizes qualitative methodologies, including case study designs, and explores themes such as giftedness, pupil voice, and professional development.
