Lokesh Sangabattula

Lokesh Sangabattula is a researcher affiliated with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM). He holds a B.Tech degree with Honours in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT Bombay) and has pursued interdisciplinary research focusing on structural and chemical analysis of nanostructured systems.

His work bridges nanotechnology, materials science, and surface chemistry.

Lokesh has received the JAE Intro Grant from CSIC for his project on molecular precursor reactions. This award supports his cutting-edge research at the ICMM.

He has gained research experience at institutions such as National Chung Cheng University (Taiwan), Colorado School of Mines (USA), and IIT Bombay, working with experts like Prof. Rajiv O. Dusane and Prof. K. Bala Subramaniam in labs focusing on photonics, nanostructures, and material synthesis.
