Liz Simcox serves as the Coordinator of Externships and Adjunct Professor at Widener University Commonwealth Law School. She oversees clinical and judicial externship programs and teaches related courses. Previously, she held roles including Dean of Students, Director of Externships, and staff attorney at the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic. Her career includes experience as an assistant prosecutor, co-director of a Dispute Resolution Clinic, and solo practitioner in family law and juvenile mediation.
- Education: BA from University of Western Ontario (1982), JD from University of Toledo College of Law (1988).
- Affiliations: Board member of the Howard and Libby Rosen Center for Healthy Families; Pennsylvania Bar Association Women in the Profession Commission member; member of Dauphin, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations.
Her expertise spans legal education, externship development, and advocacy for low-income clients. She has pioneered programs such as the first for-credit bar preparation program at Widener Law Commonwealth and developed internship initiatives at Harrisburg University.
