Rebecca Waldemar is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at Widener University School of Law (Harrisburg campus), affiliated with the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic. She teaches courses including Civil Law Clinic, Mindfulness and Law, Intensive Legal Analysis, and Advanced Legal Analysis. Her professional practice focuses on civil litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, unemployment compensation, estate planning, and bankruptcy representation. She advocates for developing students' legal skills and professional identity through hands-on clinical experience.
Education: BA from Western Kentucky University, JD from Widener University School of Law. Prior to academia, she held roles at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission as Legal Counsel in the Office of the Commissioner and Hearing Examiner. Licensed in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
She emphasizes soft skills and mindfulness techniques to help students manage legal career pressures while cultivating ethical and effective lawyering practices. Her work includes representing clients before administrative agencies, lower courts, and appellate courts, including arguments before the Commonwealth Court.
