James Hetu

James Hetu is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Massachusetts School of Law (MSLAW), where he teaches Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and contributes to the school's award-winning trial advocacy teams alongside Dean Coyne, Professor Dimitriadis, and Professor Harayda.

He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Assumption College in 1991 and a Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, in 2015. His professional experience includes running a general law practice focusing on civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord-tenant disputes, and estate planning.
