Lise-Lotte Omran is a doctoral student at the University of Borås, affiliated with the Academy of Care, Working Life and Welfare and the Department of Care Sciences. She is also associated with PreHospen and is a trained ambulance nurse with experience at Sahlgrenska Hospital's Ambulance Care.
Her research focuses on video consultation in the prehospital stroke chain, aiming to improve care processes for stroke patients and expedite access to appropriate care. This work stems from the ViPHS project initiated by VGR's regional stroke center.
Research interests include emergency care, telemedicine applications, stroke response systems, healthcare workflow optimization, and technology integration in prehospital settings. Her work bridges clinical practice and technological innovation in critical care scenarios.
