Lisa Wray serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Health Management Program at Wichita State University and is a Registered Dietitian (RDN, LDN). With over twenty years of professional experience in dietetics, she has worked across a diverse range of settings including clinical, food-service, educational, and commercial food industries. Her practice spans nutrition care for clients from infancy to end-of-life, and she has expertise in addressing the nutritional needs of various cultures, abilities, and socioeconomic groups.
Her primary areas of interest and expertise include Geriatric Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Food Service Management, Public Health Nutrition, and Cultural Nutrition. She specializes in providing nutrition care for aging populations and integrates this specialized knowledge into her teaching. Her extensive background allows her to offer students practical insights from real-world applications in dietetics.
In addition to her academic role, Ms. Wray continues to work with local long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, where she applies her expertise in geriatric nutrition. She has been an adjunct instructor at Wichita State University for the past ten years, during which she has shared her broad experience with students in the Health Management Program, preparing them for careers in health management and dietetics.
