Alison Dvorak, MS, RDN, CDN, is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Dietetics. Her career has focused on older adults, with extensive experience in healthcare environments including hospitals, long-term care, and corrections facilities. She currently serves as Executive Director of Senior Resources Agency on Aging, overseeing programs like Medicare, Senior Nutrition, Elder Justice, and Caregiver Support. Beyond academia, she is a Medicare Provider for Medical Nutrition Therapy, Consultant Dietitian, Food Safety Instructor, and EMT with a volunteer fire department. She actively participates in professional organizations such as the Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Coalition for Elder Justice Connecticut.
