Lisa Starcke

Lisa Starcke is a Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) since July 2023. Her work focuses on mathematics education and early childhood teacher development.

Her research examines professional competence development in early childhood educators, quality in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), preschool teacher-child interaction quality, and early STEM education.

Lisa’s recent publication on using illustrations to assess teachers’ situation-specific skills reflects her interest in innovative assessment methods. This aligns with broader trends in educational psychology and empirical pedagogical research.
