Christin Laschke

Dr. Christin Laschke is a Research Scientist (Postdoc) at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) since June 2023. Her work focuses on Knowledge Transfer, Teacher Professionalization, and Diagnostic Processes in education, particularly examining how social and ethnic backgrounds influence educational equity.

• Education: Doctorate in Educational Science (2016) and research experience at National Taiwan Normal University (2013–2014) funded by the Caroline von Humboldt Programme.

Her recent publications highlight challenges in teacher noticing within diagnostic judgment situations, script-writing as a pedagogical tool for conceptual understanding, and differential effects of early learning environments on mathematical competencies. These studies span fields like teacher training, educational psychology, and data-driven assessment.
