Dr. Lisa Sauer serves as Academic Councillor at the Chair of Primary School Education within the Department of Primary School Education, Faculty of Education, University of Erfurt. She concurrently holds the position of Deputy Faculty Equal Opportunities Officer for the Faculty of Education, demonstrating active engagement in institutional governance.
Her academic credentials include a 1st State Examination for Primary School Teaching and a Doctorate in Philosophy from Bielefeld University's Faculty of Education, the latter recognized with the 2024 Aloys Fischer Primary School Research Prize by the German Society for Educational Science (DGfE).
Dr. Sauer's research program critically examines special school admission procedures through historical-comparative lenses, analyzing student personnel forms from both the Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic eras. Her work reveals systematic patterns in educational categorization while exploring intersections between standardization processes, multi-professional assessment practices, and evolving concepts of inclusion. Contemporary applications of her research inform teacher education initiatives, particularly regarding internationalization strategies and asynchronous learning methodologies.
Analysis of her publication trajectory since 2015 shows sustained scholarly contribution centered on three interconnected domains: historical reliability of educational assessments (7 publications), standardization mechanisms in primary education (4 publications), and international dimensions of teacher training (3 publications). This tripartite focus demonstrates how historical insights directly inform current educational challenges.
