Lisa Ordóñez

Lisa Ordóñez serves as Dean of the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego, where she holds the Stanley and Pauline Foster Endowed Chair and is Professor of Management and Organizations. Appointed in 2019 as the school's second dean, she leads strategic growth initiatives to enhance global research prominence and strengthen the school's role as an innovation-driven economic engine. Her leadership emphasizes Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, resulting in increased representation of female and underrepresented minority faculty.

Her academic background includes a BA in Psychology (1989), MS in Marketing (1992), and PhD in Quantitative Psychology (1994), all from UC Berkeley. Prior to joining UC San Diego, she spent 25 years at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, including 4.5 years as Vice Dean.
