Dr. Paul Melendez serves as a University Distinguished Outreach Professor at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management within the Department of Management and Organizations. He has held this position since 1996 and currently leads the Center for Leadership Ethics as its Founder, while also serving as Lead Faculty for Academic Programs and Interim Director of Executive Education.
His educational background includes an EdD from the University of Arizona with a specialization in privatization.
Dr. Melendez specializes in organizational ethics, business ethics, and international business, with significant contributions to ethical decision-making frameworks and transformational leadership. His research emphasizes practical applications in global corporate environments, as evidenced by his consulting work with multinational entities including DP World, BHP Billiton, and Grupo Bal.
