Rob Stussie serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Accountancy at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, where he has taught since 2016 following his professional experience in assurance services at Ernst & Young (EY) in Phoenix.
His academic credentials include a Master of Accounting (2013) and Bachelor of Science (2012), both earned at the University of Arizona. He maintains an active Certified Public Accountant license in Arizona.
Dr. Stussie's expertise centers on core accounting disciplines with emphasis on Auditing, Consolidation Accounting, and Financial Accounting. His teaching portfolio spans foundational to advanced coursework including ACCT 200 (Introduction to Financial Accounting), ACCT 501 (Advanced Financial Accounting), and ACCT 540 (Executive MBA Financial Accounting), reflecting his practical industry background.
He demonstrates exceptional commitment to student development through leadership roles as Co-Director of the Business Careers Awareness Program and Faculty Advisor for PwC Connect. Previously, he served as Vice Chair of the Eller College Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and as Faculty Advisor for both the Accounting Students Association and Beta Alpha Psi.
