Lisa Mitchell

Dr. Lisa Mitchell serves as Associate Dean of the School of Education and Associate Professor in the Department of Inclusive Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She holds a PhD in Curriculum & Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her work focuses on teacher development through service-learning initiatives, instructional technology integration, and mentoring programs. She has led departmental roles including Department Chair and Graduate Director, developing online MA programs in education. Dr. Mitchell's recognitions include Fulbright participation and National Board Certification.
