Lisa Clark

Lisa Clark is a Lecturer in Management at the University of York's School for Business and Society, with over 18 years of academic experience teaching business and management courses globally. She holds an MA in Human Resource Management and Development and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mental Health.

Research Focus: Explores canine-assisted therapy for emotional trauma, social learning transfer in workplaces, and strategic HR interventions. Additional interests include cross-cultural talent management, leadership development, and organizational socialization processes.

Professional Recognition: Chartered Fellow of CIPD, Fellow of Institute of Leadership and Management, and Certified Management Educator. Serves as external examiner for multiple universities including American University of Bahrain and University of East Anglia.

Academic Service: Chairs the Standing Academic Misconduct Panel and serves on departmental management boards. Leads professional development initiatives as Advanced Teacher Status Mentor for Society for Education and Training.
