Dr. Lisa Chalykoff is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Victoria (UVic). She holds a BA and BSc from Queen's University, and a MA and PhD from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her research focuses on Canadian literature, with specialization in twentieth-century and contemporary works. Key interests include Canadian literary regionalism, spatial theory, ethnic minority writing, Indigenous literature, and postmodern formal/theoretical concerns. She currently explores the relationship between writing and trauma.
