Lindsey McMaster is a full-time Instructor in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University, specializing in English Studies. She holds a BA from the University of Alberta, an MA and PhD from the University of British Columbia.
Her research focuses on Canadian literature, literary pedagogy, and writing for well-being, with interdisciplinary connections to gender studies and trauma narratives. Recent publications explore diary writing in children's literature and Gothic romance in 19th-century Quebec fiction.
McMaster's scholarly work demonstrates a consistent focus on narrative strategies in Canadian women's writing. She received the George Wicken Prize for her article on urban working women in Canadian fiction.
