Lisa A. Monzón is a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) since 2017, specializing in leadership development, strategy, and impact coaching. She also serves as a Program Co-Lead for the Arbuckle Leadership Fellows Program and on the Guiding Concilio of Stanford's El Centro Chicano/a y Latino/a. Previously, she was a Program Officer at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation (2007–2014), overseeing global sustainable seafood initiatives and $1B in strategies. Her cross-sector experience spans corporate, nonprofit, and development sectors, including roles at The Nature Conservancy, World Bank, and Deloitte.
Education: BA in International Relations (Stanford University), dual MBA/MS from the Erb Institute (University of Michigan), and a Master’s in Organizational & Industrial Psychology (Harvard).
Research & Expertise: Focuses on high-impact leadership, sustainable enterprise, and mission-related investing. She designs strategies for NGOs, nonprofits, and businesses to drive global impact through market transformation and leadership development.
Awards: Recognized as a Goldman Sachs Fellow, Aspen Institute Ideas Fellow, and member of the Latino Board Leadership Academy. Active in board roles at Prospanica, International Coach Federation (SF Chapter), and Hidden Villa.
Teaching: Leads courses like OB 330/331 (Leadership Fellows I/II) and OB 209 (Leadership Laboratory), fostering leadership skills in graduate students. She also advises organizations via her consultancy, Unboxed, and serves pro bono with Girls For A Change and Braven.
