Liqin Lin serves as a Research Fellow in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. Based at The Anlyan Center Lab (300 Cedar Street, New Haven, CT), Dr. Lin joined Yale's research community as part of the new cohort welcomed on August 14, 2024.
Dr. Lin's research program focuses on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) with three primary objectives:
- Investigating the pathogenesis and underlying mechanisms of IPF
- Improving diagnostic approaches for earlier and more accurate disease identification
- Developing novel therapeutic targets for IPF treatment
Working within Yale's pulmonary research infrastructure, Dr. Lin contributes to advancing understanding of this progressive lung disease. The research takes place at The Anlyan Center, Yale's state-of-the-art medical research facility that houses numerous laboratories focused on translational medicine. As a Research Fellow, Dr. Lin participates in Yale School of Medicine's mission to bridge basic science discoveries with clinical applications for improved patient outcomes in respiratory diseases.
