معرفی
Dr. Tian Chi is a Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Immunobiology. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles (1996) and an MD from Fudan University Medical School (1987). His research focuses on chromatin dynamics and epigenetic control in the immune system, with a particular emphasis on understanding how transient signals trigger heritable changes in gene function and their implications in diseases like cancer.
Key research areas include:
- Chromatin remodeling complexes (CRC) regulation in immune cells
- Epigenetic mechanisms in T cell development and regulatory T cell survival
- Transgenerational inheritance of gene expression patterns
- Role of BAF complex in cellular memory and lineage differentiation
Recent publications highlight his work on SARS-CoV-2 mutagenesis mechanisms, pulmonary fibrosis treatment via Wnt activation, and RNA editing tool development. He collaborates with researchers such as Paula Preston-Hurlburt, Haifan Lin, and Timothy Nottoli.
Dr. Chi's laboratory is located at The Anlyan Center, New Haven, CT. He contributes to Yale's broader efforts in immunology, epigenetics, and translational research.
