Linnéa Lindsköld is a Researcher at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science, part of the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT at the University of Borås. She holds significant editorial roles, including membership on the editorial board of the Nordic Journal of Cultural Policy and the scientific committee for the Nordic Conference on Cultural Policy Research. Her work focuses on cultural policy, literature policy, and the historical governance of reading practices in Sweden. She has supervised doctoral students, including Kristin Johansson.
Her research interests span the interplay between cultural policies and societal structures, with a particular emphasis on quality discourse in literature, diversity frameworks, and the evolution of reading as a political tool. Notable contributions include studies on 20th-century Swedish cultural policy, state support for fiction, and the civilizing mission embedded in policy narratives.
