Lindsay Page is the Annenberg Associate Professor of Education Policy at Brown University and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Her research focuses on quantitative methods applied to educational policy evaluation, particularly in improving college access and success for first-generation students. She holds a doctorate in quantitative policy analysis from Harvard University, along with master's degrees in statistics and education policy, and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
Her work emphasizes large-scale experimental and quasi-experimental studies to assess the causal effects of educational interventions, including place-based scholarships, text-based nudging, and AI-driven chatbots. She is affiliated with Brown’s Annenberg Institute, contributing to initiatives like the SREE-EdFunders Summer Fellows program and the design of clustered observational studies.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on current issues in US higher education and economic analysis of urban education policy. Her research spans topics such as financial aid policy, behavioral interventions in education, and the efficacy of technology-enhanced student support systems.
Publications highlight methodological innovations (e.g., balancing weights for clustered studies) and policy-relevant findings on scholarship impacts, chatbot engagement, and FAFSA completion challenges. While no explicit awards are listed, her work is widely cited in policy circles and academic journals.
