Linde Lindkvist

Linde Lindkvist is an Associate Professor (docent) and Visiting Research Fellow at Lund University, specializing in Human Rights Studies within the Department of History. He focuses on human rights history, religious freedom, and children's rights, with expertise in international human rights law and UN conventions. His work bridges historical analysis with contemporary policy, particularly through his role at the Swedish Institute for Human Rights since 2022.

Education

• Ph.D. in Human Rights, Lund University (2014), centered on the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and religious freedom.

• Research explores the political origins of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) and historical frameworks of human rights.
