Dr. Linda Lloyd is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the San Diego State University (SDSU) School of Public Health. Her work focuses on community-based health programs, particularly in vector control and behavioral science. She has over two decades of experience collaborating with ministries of health in low- and middle-income countries through organizations like the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Dr. Lloyd’s research emphasizes program evaluation, behavior change communication, and addressing healthcare disparities. She is a member of the Lancet Commission on Dengue and other Arboviral Diseases and the NAS Forum on Microbial Threats. Previously, she served as Director of the Center for Research at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine (2009–2013) and Vice President for Programs at the Alliance Healthcare Foundation, where she strengthened healthcare access for underserved communities in San Diego County.
