Linda J. Bilmes is the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), specializing in public finance, military costs, and budgeting. She holds a BA and MBA from Harvard University and a D.Phil from the University of Oxford. Currently, she serves as the sole U.S. member of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) and Vice-chair of Economists for Peace and Security.

- Research: Focuses on war costs, veterans' issues, national parks valuation, and state/local government finance. Co-authored The Three Trillion Dollar War and Valuing US National Parks and Programs.
