Linda Berg

Linda Berg is Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. She serves as Director of Studies for the Centre for European Studies (CES) and is an associated researcher at the Centre for European Research (CERGU). Her research focuses on European integration, territorial identities, political trust, and voting behavior in EU elections.

Her work includes co-principal investigator roles in the Swedish European Parliament Studies and participation in projects on migration governance and political cleavages, such as the wolf issue analysis. She has authored publications in journals like Electoral Studies and Policy Studies, alongside book contributions to edited volumes on EU trust and regional elections.

Linda Berg has received educational accolades, including the

• Individual Education Prize from Göta Student Union (2011, 2012)
• University of Gothenburg Team Pedagogical Prize (2009)

for her courses in European studies and political science.

Her teaching responsibilities include coordinating the joint Master's course European Heritage and Identity, managing Bachelor's theses, and developing the prize-awarded course Practical EU Knowledge in collaboration with the European Documentation Centre.
