Lim Shu Min is a Lecturer at the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University, specializing in Design Communication. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design with a concentration in History of Art and Visual Culture, supported by the DesignSingapore Scholarship, and an MA by Research from her current institution.

Her research and design practice focuses on:
- Design for culture and heritage
- Digital humanities
- Exhibition design
- Museum and archive studies
Through collaborative projects with institutions like Singapore Art Museum, Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, and Asian Civilisations Museum, she creates multidisciplinary experiences combining print, screen-based media, and exhibitions. Her recent work explores natural history archives and Singapore's Thaipusam festival heritage, using collaborations with writers, curators, and technologists to develop immersive experiences.
Notable projects include Embroidered Landscapes (2024) at National Gallery of Singapore and Nature Remixed (2023-24) in Seoul and Singapore. She received the DesignSingapore Council grant for Sonic Walks: Relak (2022) and has exhibited at Gwangju Design Biennale.
