Catherine Andreozzi

Catherine Andreozzi is a Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) within the Department of Apparel Design. Holding a BFA from RISD, she bridges fashion, art, and technology through hands-on experimentation, focusing on merging new manufacturing methods with traditional craftsmanship.

• Co-designed RISD Global travel course India Sensed with international artisans
• Collaborated with Harvard Wyss Institute on soft robotics gloves
• Developed NASA-related space glove design courses with MIT Media Lab

Her research explores identity, ritual, and digital existence, with applications in wellness and healthcare apparel. She has exhibited globally at venues including the 3D Print Show in Paris, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and China Millennium Monument Art Museum, while her work appears in Vogue, WWD, Designboom, and other publications.
