Lide Chen is a Professor of Waste Management Engineering at the University of Idaho, affiliated with the Department of Soil and Water Systems in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. His research focuses on value-added products from waste, mitigating environmental impacts of waste, and disseminating science-based information to stakeholders. He holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University (2008) and prior degrees from China Agricultural University (M.S., 1993; B.S., 1989).
