Jianli Chen is a Professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Idaho's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, and M.S./B.S. degrees from Northwest Agricultural University in China. His research investigates advanced breeding methodologies using biotechnology tools to develop genetically superior wheat cultivars, focusing on yield performance, end-use quality, and stress resistance.
