Liam Simon Clegg is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of York. He is actively engaged in research, teaching, and supervision, and is currently accepting PhD students. His work bridges political science, environmental policy, and governance.
His research interests center on party politics, climate change policy, local governance, and the accountability of international financial institutions. He investigates how political alignment affects grant distribution, the impact of EU membership on climate commitments, and the role of green parties in shaping local climate frameworks.
