Li Zhen

Li Zhen is a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He earned his PhD in Engineering from Beihang University in 2019 and completed postdoctoral research at Shenzhen University in 2021.

• Research Focus: Metastable metal deformation mechanisms, composite materials processing, and micro/nanostructure multiscale forming under high-frequency dynamic loading.
• Additional Interests: High-efficiency, low-damage machining of hard/brittle materials, specialized equipment design, and thermoplastic compression molding.
