Leyla Vatansever

Prof. Dr. Leyla Vatansever is a full-time faculty member at Kafkas University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Food Safety and Public Health since 2017. She holds a

• PhD in Veterinary Food Hygiene and Technology (University of Bristol, 1999)
• MSc in Veterinary Science (University of Bristol, 1995)
• DVM in Veterinary Medicine (Ankara University, 1990)

Her research focuses on Food Microbiology, Pathogen Detection, and Antimicrobial Applications in food safety. She has led numerous projects on bacterial contamination in dairy, meat, and poultry products.
