Levon Chilingirian

Levon Chilingirian serves as Chamber Musician in Residence at the Royal Academy of Music, where he mentors emerging chamber groups and soloists. Founder of the internationally renowned Chilingirian Quartet, he has premiered contemporary works and recorded over 50 albums spanning Mozart to modern composers.

His pedagogical approach integrates performance tradition with innovation, documented in his publications The Orchestral Violinist and The Violin in 5ths. As artistic director of festivals including Mendelssohn on Mull, he curates performance-education hybrids.
