Levon Chilingirian

Levon Chilingirian is a Violin Tutor in the Strings department and Chamber Music Coach at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. A renowned performer and educator, he is associated with the Chilingirian Quartet and Camerata Nordica. His career spans over five decades with residencies at leading institutions like the Royal College of Music and collaborations with orchestras worldwide.

Education:

• Studied violin at the Royal College of Music, London.

Research Interests: Dedicated to chamber music repertoire interpretation, violin pedagogy, and fostering young talents through coaching and masterclasses. His work bridges historical performance practices with contemporary artistic expression.

Advising/Grants: Organized string competitions in Armenia and co-directed the Pharos International Chamber Music Festival. Leads mentorship initiatives via the Mendelssohn on Mull Festival.
