Lesley Wheeler, Henry S. Fox Professor of English at Washington and Lee University, is a distinguished poet, novelist, and essayist with a focus on contemporary poetry, feminist literature, and interdisciplinary studies. Since joining W&L’s Department of English in 1994, she has taught courses on 19th-21st century poetry, creative writing, and fairy tale-inspired literature.
