Triny Finlay (she/they) is a queer, genderfluid Teaching Professor at the University of New Brunswick in the Department of English, currently on sabbatical until 2026. Their work spans creative writing, critical theory, and anti-oppressive pedagogy.

Research Interests:
- Documentary poetics and elegiac modes in Canadian poetry
- Queer and feminist reinterpretation of canonical texts
- Mental health narratives in poetry and outsider art
