Leonid Kerbel is a Violin Professor at the Royal College of Music (RCM) and teaches at the Brussels Royal Conservatory, where he focuses on pedagogy, solo performance, and chamber music. He has performed with renowned artists like Maxim Vengerov and Isaac Stern, and his teaching is influenced by violin masters such as Joseph Gingold and Leonid Kogan.
Over the past 15 years, Kerbel has conducted masterclasses at the Sewannee Summer Music Festival (USA) and participated in festivals including Festival de Minimes and Musica Mundi. He has held leadership roles in multiple string quartets and founded the Musica Mundi International Chamber Music course and festival in 1999.
