Leon Robertson is an Adjunct Professor in Environmental Health at Yale School of Public Health (YSPH). His research focuses on injury epidemiology, public health policy, and the sociological aspects of disease control. Notably, he has explored the relationship between testing policies and SARS-CoV-2 transmission, as well as the environmental and behavioral factors influencing road deaths. Robertson holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Tennessee and completed postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University. His work integrates environmental health, policy analysis, and epidemiological modeling to address complex public health challenges, including climate change and pandemic response. Recent publications highlight his contributions to understanding the unintended consequences of public health interventions and the socioeconomic determinants of health disparities.
